Brandi Hussli

Courses Taught: Mrs. Hussli is the OHS Site Coordinator for AVID which stand for Advancement Via Individual Determination.  She is also the AVID elective teacher for the class of 2022 cohort. In addition to AVID, she teaches a variety of online classes in the blended learning lab.

ELL

  • The English Language program provides supports and service to students and families who are linguistically diverse or emergent in the English language. Students in the EL program can include but are not limited to students who are bilingual, multilingual, and recent arrivals to the United States. These services include in-class support, case management, test support, language development and assessment, translation, and family outreach. Students who qualify for classroom language support services are referred upon registration within the school district and receive services until they test out of programming. The English Language program supports and empowers diverse cultures and perspectives in Oregon Schools.

  • Research-based reading intervention courses at OHS are designed to help students meet their personal reading goals by increasing their decoding, fluency, comprehension or vocabulary skills, which will positively impact their academic performance, ability to access knowledge,and chances of reading for enjoyment even beyond high school.
