Alcohol & Other Drug Abuse (AODA)
-
The Oregon School District strives to educate our students on the effects and harm of early use of alcohol and other drugs. We provide education to students to avoid or minimize future problems related to drug and alcohol abuse. Having resources readily available to the community is useful when we have questions about the effects of drugs and alcohol as well as when we are looking for community resources. While these resources are not all-inclusive the websites do provide reliable education and provide “first steps” to connecting with community resources.

OSD AODA Coordinator: Amie Mitchell, 608-835-4471
Our AODA Coordinator works to educate students (staff and parents) about the potential harm early use of alcohol and drugs can cause. We are available to meet individually with students or parents who are concerned about drug/alcohol usage. In addition, we will meet with any students who violate our Oregon School District Drug, which may result in a community referral.
