I am thrilled to be the Brooklyn Elementary School Principal. I have had the privilege of spending the last 10 years as an educator working with students at the elementary level. I have taught grades 1-4 including second grade at Brooklyn. Most recently, I served as the Administrative Intern at both Prairie View and Brooklyn Elementary in the Oregon School District.
I have loved the opportunity to contribute to the goals and initiatives set forth by the Oregon School District. I have enjoyed collaborating with staff across buildings on curriculum teams, green and healthy initiatives, and opportunities for students and families to promote equity and the whole child. I believe that providing a safe and supportive, engaging and inspiring, equitable learning environment will help each and every child achieve high levels of success.
I am eager to continue Brooklyn's work in providing rigorous, authentic, and equitable experiences to our students. Family and community partnerships are critical and I welcome opportunities for collaboration. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.

I grew up in Oregon and graduated from the district.  My husband and I have a daughter and we live in the Oregon community.  I love spending time at our family cabin in Northern Wisconsin, attending Badger football and hockey games and spending time with extended family. 

I strongly believe in and nurture the importance of high quality relationships both with students and staff.  Currently I am working on my graduate studies for Educational Leadership through Edgewood College.
